My grandfather died on Christmas he was a wonderful man. I am posting his obituary, it's a story worth reading.

WOODROW HAYES
MELBOURNE BEACH
Woodrow Wilson Hayes died peacefully on Tuesday, December 25, 2007. He was surrounded by his family and left knowing he was well loved. He is reunited with his wife of 57 years, Eugenia Hayes, who passed away December 15, 2005. Also known as Woody or Pop, he was a beloved hus band, father, grandfather, great grandfather, great-great grand father, uncle, brother and friend. He is survived by many family members in California, New York and Florida. As a member of the Army and National Guard, he served proudly as a Military Guard to protect President Franklin D. Roosevelt. He received a favor able loyalty check for position of trust by the United States Se cret Service and also served as an investigator in black market activities in the Philippine Islands. He was awarded the American Campaign Medal, Asiatic Pacific Campaign Medal, Good Conduct Medal, and the World War II Victory Medal. During his 38 years with IBM, he worked in New York, Minne sota and at Cape Kennedy as a Project Manager during the Apollo missions. After retiring he and his wife traveled the world and enjoyed over 12 cruises; his favorite to Alaska. He was an active member of Our Saviour Catholic Church and built the cross that hangs above the altar. The stained glass panel of his likeness in the church is a comfort to us all. A Mass will be celebrated at Our Saviour Church with Father Eamon Tobin on Saturday, December 29th at 10:30 a.m. We rejoice for him, as he is welcomed into the kingdom of Heaven to be with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Jesse is a baby's daddy! My sister is a grandmother now. I was teasing her for months and she was ready to kick my butt and now she's bragging about it! LOL Hey! I wish I was going to be a grandmother. A great aunt feels pretty good too!

He passed out at my sisters. He's been awake for days. I woke up to him pinching my nose. He opens one nostrail and then pinches my nose again. I've busted him pinching my nose before but now I know he has an elaborate system. I just can't go five days without sleep anymore. Two or three and I am down. I guess he figured out I'll wake up to breathe! LOL

He has everything. He isn't asking for anything this year! I think we should plan a vacation.

I know my granfather is on hospice and my nephew is going to have a new baby so emotionally we'll be stretched far in both joy and sorrow. I am fine just keeping our celebration mellow.

If Animal Planet doen't start up with mass toy commercials I just might get off with a scared Santa gift and keep the day about family and not gifts.

I've got Zach at the gym twice a week. It's the best way for me to get a healthy male influence in his life. It's really different when his trainer tells him, "good man, good man" I am so proud of Zach. Video coming of his work out.

This is my oldest nephew and any day now he's about to make me a great aunt. I had the best old aunts. I am so excited to meet the next generation. He asked me if I was coming down when the baby is born and I hope and pray Zach will let it happen cause I told them I was going to be there for sure! YIKES!

He told me not to change Zachary's medicine. He's hooking me up with someone. A new someone new............ I admit that the old new guy had me scared to death. Litterally, I could not see how I could make it. I've been here before and surrived. It's always a miracle or a hero. Ah a hero has arrived. I am glad. I am so thankful.

I took Zach to the hospital today for the flu shot.
The doctor was wondering where the hell have I been???
So I wasn't just MIA online.

I got good news though. It seems that possibly, a new doctor is opening up the pain clinic at Childrens!!! YaY!

I am not ready to talk yet. I can't write when I have secrets.
Damn, I just wanted to keep my pain to myself. I don't want to relive it.

I need a healing.

THis is Art at it's finest. I think so .......it's truly life inspired. Zachary does this all the time. EVERYWHERE! One day I gave him a canvas and he did his thing with straw and stir sticks. He went out with his nanny for a walk and I attacked it with glue. He came home to find this on the wall in his bedroom. Of course I made some mistakes glueing and it didn't go unnoticed, however, Zach was still able to appriciate the effort and enjoy his master piece.

I've had less of these all over the place but he still has to have some handy. STICKS from outside are his true love but he settle for straws and stir sticks in the house. It's a great way to get him to agree to go to Sarbucks with mommy. OH and hats off to starbucks never giving me a hard time for the handfuls and handfuls or stirr sticks my son takes from there!
