I used to take Zachary to the Joey Travolta school of acting for special needs kids. Well, I think it was meant to be something like a school of acting but now it's acting camps and school inservices. It's really nice to seem them going into a school and giving hope and having fun with troubled kids and kids with special needs. They still have the program at Zach's school and I think it's one of the better things I have accomplished in my life. The truth is......it was all Zach. He was literally discovered in a Starbucks in Burbank just down the street from Warner Bros studios.

I love coffee and Zach loves coffee stir sticks. Zach was spotted at the starbucks and invited to join an acting class fun by Joey Travolta and friends. It was just getting off the ground and I was willing to give it a try. While I was there I met another mother with an autistic son that was pursuing acting and film making for her son. While the Joey T school has become a traveling camp. The mom I met went on to find an extraordinary school for her son, and she is one of the producers of Autism The Musical.

This is a documentary about some children with special needs and friends putting on a musical.
I love this because, acting is so good for our kids and so far away from the stereotypes of autism.

you are simply, Presence that is doing" So as a Presence is it possible to change what doing gets done? The book is Awakening to your life's Purpose. Assuming being a presence and finding the intended thing to DO. I have a physical reality and a commitment of my presence. I don't want to get thrown in jail and just BE. {You picked a fight with my ego! } Just being Present, looking at me ego, I am not wanting to come back home from vacation. Why does the ego torture me? I could be proud of my hard work with my son and claim my saintly status in the world. Because there is something else to be done. The more I just am the more I can? My mind can't see that but maybe 'I' will be able too. Mothering is something I do with purpose. If I have another purpose or a bigger purpose.....Can there be a bigger purpose? Will it synergise with my all things I do as a presence.? online person, I thank you very much for your reply.

I love books. This is so interesting to share this journey. I am used to having such a private experience with books. I really take them into me.
Even though seven hundred thousand people tuned in to the live web event I still have the feeling that this book was written for me!

My book club is online on twitter. I am getting new local members so we plan on meeting up "in the real" as well. Triple shots anyone?

Zach did walk most of the time at Disney Land but with out his Wheelchair he would have had to wait in line for rides and then we would not have had the same great experience that we did!

Zach finally got to go to Disneyland! A lost boy found him. It was really funny. Peter Pan watched Zachary line up some toys on a cart. It took quite a while for Zach to actually see Peter Pan. Everyone was laughing and when Zach finally figured it out he was so happy to meet Peter.

The snow capped mountains through the blue skies and the palm trees called and called until we just couldn't take it any more.

So we hit the road and with in an hour we were at Mountain High playing in the snow for Zach's first time.

Now when he watches the polar bears on Animal Planet he knows just how cold and wet they are.
